What are Google Groups?

Google Groups are useful for sending email messages to a group using a single email address. Google Groups allow you to choose who can become a part of the group, who can send mail to the group, and it allows you to moderate messages submitted by group members before going out to the whole group, as well as moderate messages sent to the group. 

Who are eligible to use them?

Students, faculty, and staff all may request a mailing list. Student requests for Google Groups must be approved by an employee sponsor.

How can I get one?

Select the Request Google Group button on on this page if you need to request a new mailing list or if you need help with an existing one.

How do I use it?

Google maintains official documentation regarding Google Groups on their Google Groups Help Center. If you have questions that the Help Center cannot answer, please email itservicedesk@haverford.edu and we'll do our best to answer them.

How much does it cost?
