Overview
Previously, ArcGIS Pro licensing was managed by a licensing server managed by Bryn Mawr College. Starting fall 2025, ArcGIS Pro at the college uses named user licensing, requiring users to log into the application.
While this adds a new step on college computers, it has the benefit of allowing us to offer ArcGIS Pro for students to use on their personal computers if they choose.

Navigate to and log into https://trico.maps.arcgis.com by clicking the Haverford SSO button.

Click on your name along the ribbon at the top of the page, then click My settings.

Click Licenses in the sidebar, then either search ArcGIS Pro or scroll until you reach it, then click Download ArcGIS Pro.

Run the installer after the download completes then, once it has completed, launch ArcGIS Pro. On first launch, expand the Your ArcGIS organization's URL dropdown, then enter trico, check the box to Remember this URL, and click Continue.

You should then see the Haverford College SSO button for login, at which point you should be able to log in as you would on a college computer (see next section).
The first time you launch ArcGIS Pro on any college computer, you'll need to log in to access your license. Please note that this login is per-computer, so you will need to repeat the process the first time you launch the application on any one computer.
If you haven't logged into ArcGIS Pro on a specific computer, you'll see the following window pop up on launch:

Haverford users should click Haverford College SSO, then log in with their college email address & password.
Non-Haverford users should click Configure Licensing at the bottom of the window, then update the URL under ArcGIS Online to match that of their home institution.

Bryn Mawr users, for example, will need to use the URL https://brynmawrcollege.maps.arcgis.com/, but users from other colleges should check with their home institution to confirm the named user license URL they should use.
