Mathematica for Faculty

Get access to Mathematica Desktop, Mathematica Online, and Wolfram|Alpha Pro

Mathematica is currently installed in the following locations:

Computer labs

  • All public and general labs

Computer clusters

  • The Mathematica license at Haverford allows for grid computing on dedicated research clusters and in ad-hoc, or distributed, grid environments. For details, please contact Andy Dorsett at adorsett@wolfram.com.

To request Mathematica Desktop, Mathematica Online, and Wolfram|Alpha Pro, follow the directions below.

    • Faculty

      1. Create an account (New users only):
        1. Go to user.wolfram.com and click “Create Account”
        2. Fill out form using a @haverford.edu email, and click “Create Wolfram ID”
        3. Check your email and click the link to validate your Wolfram ID
      2. Request access to the product:
        Mathematica Desktop Mathematica Online
        For school-owned machines:

         

        1. Fill out this form to request an Activation Key
        2. Click the “Product Summary page” link to access your license
        3. Click “Get Downloads” and select “Download” next to your platform
        4. Run the installer on your machine, and enter Activation Key at prompt

        For a personally owned machine:

        1. Fill out this form to request a home-use license from Wolfram.
        1. Fill out this form to request access
        2. Go to Mathematica Online and sign in to access Mathematica Online
        Wolfram|Alpha Pro
        1. Fill out this form to request access
        2. Go to Wolfram|Alpha and click “Sign in” to access Wolfram|Alpha Pro
