Network ports are outlets in the wall that allow you to plug in an ethernet cable and connect to the internet. Whether you need a port turned on for access, turned off, or a new port installed, The Service Desk is here to help.
Please be aware that Haverford is a Wireless First college. We strive to ensure strong connectivity in all Academic and Residential buildings. Who Is Eligible to Use It?
Anyone with a Haverford-owned machine can plug into a network port.

How Do I Use It?
IITS will provide an ethernet cable and dongle, if necessary, for you to connect your machine to the network.
How Much Does It Cost?
There is no fee associated with activating or deactivating a port. Port installation fees depend upon location and number of ports needed. IITS will always provide an estimate before charging.
