What Is It?

Filestore is an on-premise managed network storage solution that should be used to store:

  • Institutional data that needs to be kept for archival purposes
  • Large data sets that are not optimal in cloud storage

Any files that need to be shared for collaboration that contain PII or other regulatory protected data should be stored in either Google Drive or Box.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Staff and Faculty.

Where Can I Get It?

Most employees will automatically receive access to their respective department's folders. For special cases, supervisors should select the "Request Access" button to generate a new request.
